A modern method of starting electric pumps is to use electronic static starters, generally known as soft starters.

These devices enable users to reduce the hammering and to set the starting time. This allows power to be supplied to the motor very gradually increasing it throughout the procedure to achieve smooth starting, with none of the electrical and mechanical stresses found with direct and star/delta starting.

The control panels STATIC are ideal in the following applications:

• Industrial pumps, booster pumps
• Pumps for rain water, irrigation pumps (submerged or surface pumps)
• Submersible pumps, sewage pumps
