Speroni APM 100 Deep well jet pump

APPLICATIONS
Self-priming electric pumps for deep suction up to 35 m, used wherever the water level varies considerably. Suitable for water supply with suction from wells, for domestic use with small and medium tanks (booster set with tank). Before installation, check that the pipes (iron, plastic or rubber) are clean inside so as not to clog the ejector nozzle. A foot valve or check valve must be fitted at the base of the ejector. After installation, completely fill the pipes and pump body with clean water. To maintain efficient priming, a certain pressure is required in the circuit, so it is advisable to fit a diaphragm tank on the pump delivery.

The separate-ejector pump is essentially a centrifugal pump that can become a deep-suction self-priming jet pump by fitting the ejector in the well, at the end of the suction pipe.

The recirculating water passing through the venturi draws in the water below and pushes it through the return pipe (suction), creating enough pressure to bring it to the surface.

For these deep-suction applications, two pipes must be connected: the delivery pipe to the ejector and the return pipe (suction); in this case the well diameter must be at least 4”.

If the pump is to be used in a 2” well, a “Jector” ejector with a hermetic seal on the well is required; it works with the return (suction) pipe only, using the space between the pipe and the 2” well as the second
recirculation pipe.
