The XC Hybrid controller provides uninterrupted power as it operates with 9V Latching Solenoids (install VDC solenoid valves) and is battery powered.

AC power is possible with the accessory transformer sold separately.

SOLAR PANEL KIT COMPATIBLE

The Solar Panel Kit (SPXCH) eliminates the need for batteries, providing maintenance-free operation.

The Solar Panel provides maintenance-free operation with solar energy powering the controller 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for many years of operation.

Once connected, the Solar Panel provides 100% power to the controller, eliminating the need for alkaline batteries.

This alternative, green innovation is more environmentally friendly and allows the controller to operate without maintenance.

EASY RETRIEVE™ MEMORY

A manual backup utility that stores a controller's entire schedule and configuration data in a backup memory. This allows you to restore your saved irrigation schedule at any time.

This feature can be used to restore a controller to its initial settings after it has been tampered with or at the start of a new season.

SINGLE BUTTON MANUAL START

Allows the user to manually start/test any station or program by simply pressing a button (right arrow or PRG) and then changing its run time.

To advance to the next station, simply press the right arrow button.

RAIN SENSOR BYPASS

Allows you to override the blocking action of the installed weather sensor (Rain-Clik, Freeze-Clik, Wind-Clik, etc.) if necessary. When the switch is set to “Bypass” the controller ignores the sensor signal and waters normally.

PROGRAMMABLE DELAY WATER

A user-specified number of days the controller will remain in Off mode and then automatically revert to automatic watering. This will prevent watering during extended periods of inclement weather but will automatically resume watering without requiring the controller to be re-set.

The controller displays the number of days remaining before watering resumes.

PERMANENT MEMORY

This feature provides protection against unreliable power. It stores the current time, day and program data.

GLOBAL SEASONAL ADJUST

This feature allows for quick adjustments to watering times using a percentage scale. During peak season set Seasonal Adjust to 100%. If weather conditions require less water, enter an appropriate percentage value (e.g. 50%) to limit run times without having to change each station in the program.

DELAY BETWEEN STATIONS

Users can program a delay between stations as the controller transitions from one station to another. The delay can be as short as a few seconds (to allow valves to close more slowly) or as long as a few seconds (to allow more time for pressure tanks to recharge), depending on the user's needs.

SENSOR PROGRAMMABILITY

Specify which program will be stopped in response to a specific sensor alarm. Allows programs not affected by the sensor to continue automatic operations.
